Divorce proceedings fall within the jurisdiction of the family-affairs judge (or the rabbinical judge of the Hebraic Chambers). From the opening of the proceedings to their close (the pronouncement of the divorce), the judge may be called upon to order interim measures at your request or at that of your spouse, against which avenues of appeal are open to you. These measures may concern the marital home, custody of the children and the division of joint property where an initial agreement exists.
